Can We Ever Have Too Many Pillows
When it comes to pillows, how many pillows are too many pillows. If you were to go into to your master bedroom right now and count the pillows on your bed, how many would there be? Zero to 10 or 10 and over? If you fall into that 10 and over range, you definitely fit in the category of pillow-obsessed-crazy person. I mean, really, how many pillows do we sleep on at night? Of all of the pillows sitting on my bed, probably only two of them are used as actual sleepers and the others are purely decorative. I have to admit, though, I do fall into that 10 and over crazed-pillow-obsessed category. So fellow pillow lovers, you are not alone.
It Takes Time To Look This Good
How many of you have significant others that are willing to take the pillows off the bed at night and put them back on in the morning? My hubby wants no part of it and this is where he draws the line. He has flashbacks of the Movie Along Came Polly when Jennifer Aniston tells Ben Stiller to take a knife and stab all the pillows, just destroy them. My Mister feels the same way. He thinks that that many pillows serve no purpose, it’s a waste of time. Wait, WHAT? Serves no purpose? Did I hear that right? That’s a sacrilege in my book dahling. He tosses them on the floor at night like a pair of old dirty socks! But because my love affair with pillows goes way beyond a simple crush, I’ve come to the conclusion that this is a job I’m willing to take on!
Pillow Are Budget Friendly
So why is it that so many of us are loving so many pillows these days. I mean, what is the point? Well, it’s the most budget-friendly way to change your decor. Adding a seasonal pillow gives you immediate satisfaction, right? Combining textures and patterns can definitely cause joy and happiness.
Pillow Crush
And my infatuation with pillows doesn’t stop at the bedroom. My couch holds a plethora of these cloth bags stuffed with feathers or foam or other soft materials. In fact, every chair in my house cradles a pillow like a football player clutches the ball, perfectly situated and displayed until someone plops down and knocks it out of the chair for a fumble.
My front porch is not immune from my pillow obsession either. You can check out this post here to see how adding summer pillows to the porch swing beckons you to sit down and enjoy the moment.
So whether your bed only holds your sleeping pillows or whether it displays all your favorite accent pillows, just remember that adding a few “extras” can really elevate your room from “blase'” to “va va voom.” There’s really no right number and there’s so many great pillow makers out there. If you like it, do it. I know my love affair with pillows is not going to end any time soon.

I love all your pillows, do you bring them on from the porch swing at night?
Kristi Bissell says
Hi Dena ~ Thanks so much. I do not bring them in at night unless I know ahead of time a storm is coming. I’ve never had any stolen (knock on wood). I’m so glad you stopped by the blog. Thank you so much.

Love love love pillows! My hubby will stack all the bed pillows on my side. He’s not a fan, will tell me when he likes decorating changes I’ve made.

This is Mark, Kristi’s husband. Yes it’s true I make fun of all the pillows. But I wouldn’t have it any other way, they do look great and my better half does have a special gift for making our house look great. Before we got married the home décor never changed, had dust on all pieces I had sitting around, and really needed her touch! Great job!!
