Week 1 Shout
Yes, it’s just what it sounds like. This lil ol’ IG of mine has introduced me to a whole new world of small shops. Sharing my FAVE ones that I have been loving lately is such an honor for me. I have been blessed to work with some amazing people and I want you to know them too. Wellcome to Week 1’s shout!
Today I want to talk about Walls of Wisdom. I recently collaborated with Leah, the owner and creator of Walls of Wisdom, and we worked together to come up with a custom sign that is so sentimental to me that it still has me SQUEALING every single time I walk by it.
Their Story…
In the beginning, Leah had a vision of being able to work from home. As a mom she wanted to be able to give her time and energy to her family. Her faith in God was really the driving force behind her vision. She wanted to be able to share her faith with you by creating pieces that she says, “God created us to be.” Walls of Wisdom offers farmhouse wall decor and printables. This Texas-proud girl creates one-of-a-kind art pieces with messages that resonate with each sign.
I knew when I first saw her work, I wanted to own a piece of this mastery. I envisioned a subway-inspired sign that represented my favorite places and she was the one I wanted to create it. Because my family and friends are scattered all over the country, a sign representing their home places that I could pass by and see every day, was second best to actually seeing THEM everyday.
Perfection
I was blown away when I received it. It was total perfection. Never has a piece that I’ve received held so much sentiment. The industrial-style sign was even more than I had imagined. It was PERFECT!! It is printed on canvas, y’all, not wood. That is my favorite part. It’s so easy and lightweight to hang. You don’t have to worry about pulling your wall down.

And when I say, “a few,” of my favorites, I mean, as you scroll through her Instagram feed and website, you will quickly see it’s like trying to pick a favorite child. Errryy one of them is amazing.
