Spring Hop

Spring has sprung…or at least it’s trying.

It’s like the season keeps knock knock knockin’ at the door but nobody will let her in.  Well, I’m here to tell you, it may not quite feel like spring outside, but on the inside it’s a different story.  Welcome to my Spring Home Tour.   You should have just come from Brooke’s home with Start at Home Decor.  If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure and swing back around.

Front Porch

Front Porch sittin’ is a huge part of our routine when the weather starts to warm up and lemons just say “spring,” don’t they?  You will find lemons sprinkled throughout my house.  I love the bright pop of color they add after a dull, colorless winter.

Come On Inside

A lemon branch and DIY lemon wreath greet you to the right and to the left as you walk through the front door.  All the lemons I use are faux and budget-friendly at your favorite box stores.

Flowers…real or faux?

So springtime is when all of my favorite flowers start making an appearance again.  Flowers are a great way to layer color in your home.  Tulips are my absolute favorite.  Though I love real flowers, I have decided faux works best for me this time of year.

The vintage barrel and a handful of spring-like flowers take center stage.  Guests often ask if the flowers are real.  I gathered together a handful of my favorites like Gerber daisies, hanging hops, lavender and tulips for this display.

Pink Is My Jam

I’ve always loved wearing pink, but adding pops of this gorgeous color in my home decor is something you will see this year.

Even my little she shed got a spring refresh.

Adding bright-colored pillows brings just the right amount of spring to this space.  Pink pairs so well with buffalo check.

Guest Bedrooms

This room boasts cheerful faux hydrangeas in a canvas basket.

And just adding greens to a space, like this real fern, really wakes up a room after the long winter.

I did opt for the real floral bouquet for the flowers-in-the-kitchen-sink photo.

If nothing else, adding flowers, faux or fake, is the best way to introduce spring into your home.  Be sure and check out Suzy with Worthing Court for a lot more spring Inspo.

Thanks for stopping by.
