Holiday Giving With Rubbermaid® TakeAlongs®

A tradition that is done in my family for the holidays is to create treats for our friends and neighbors. I have always instilled in them the importance of giving and that it can bring you just as much joy, if not more, than receiving.

This post has been sponsored by Rubbermaid®. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

So this year as we began figuring out what to bake, packaging the treats in Rubbermaid® TakeAlongs® with their clear base was ideal. It really showcases what’s inside.

Savory or Sweet?

What to bake? That really is the question, isn’t it? I decided that because cookie giving is so popular, I would satisfy those savory palettes and make Chex Mix instead. It’s easy! The recipe can be found on the back of the cereal box, and who doesn’t love it? You can find the reliable Rubbermaid® TakeAlongs® containers at Walmart in the kitchen section. Walmart is always my go-to shop for the holidays because of their convenience and product availability, and there’s always a store near you. You can find your closest Walmart location right here.

Wrap Them Up

Wrapping up these goodies for all of your friend and neighbors is made easy with the three Rubbermaid® TakeAlongs® color choices: red, green, and gold. The lids are so secure, you don’t have to worry at all about not keeping your treats fresh.

Make It Personal

I like mixing and matching all of the colors and personalizing each one with a tag and ribbon. To make it easy, cut out shapes with black cardstock and use a paint pen to make your DIY tags.

Don’t Forget Your Furry Friends

When you’re gift-giving this year, don’t forget all those fur babies. Harley, my Great Dane, has become well-known on my social channels, and he was eager to jump in and give his furry friends treats, also.

I grabbed his FAVORITE treats from Walmart’s pet section and packaged them up in the Rubbermaid® TakeAlongs®, also. Of course, he had to sample them and make sure they were good enough for Fido and all of his other friends.

Spread Kindness

The holidays really are all about giving. Why not spread holiday cheer in your neighborhood this year and make someone smile.

Happy baking.
