When I was going through Mohawk’s plethora of rug choices, I knew something fairly neutral would look best in my master bedroom since this is where I would be putting it and my entire master got a refresh earlier this month. You can read all about that right here.
Talk about a hard decision. Mohawk has so many choices. You can see them all by visiting their website right here, but the Mohawk Home Laguna Gaffie Area Rug was my top pick. It has such a luxurious texture and is sure to flatter any space. My feet are definitely doing a happy dance as soon as they hit the floor each morning.
Eco Friendly
I feel like I’m walking on a cloud with its premium polyester yarn. This environmentally-friendly option is woven for durability that’s always dependable. What I love about it is it’s highly resistant to crushing and matting which in the long run will definitely expand the life of the rug. By simply running my vacuum over it, it keeps it looking brand new. AND with its stain resistance, it’s great for easy cleanup if you have an accidental stain which is so important with my house full of pets. I just spot clean with a mild soap and water and no one would ever know.
The primary color for this rug is beige with a gray secondary color. It serves as a great neutral for any space.
Rug Pad
This is the first time I’ve ever chosen to use a rug pad with my rug and I can definitely notice a difference. Mohawk’s pads are great because they come in all sizes and can easily be trimmed with a pair of scissors to fit any rug and add just a bit of heaven to this already scrumptious rug.
Christmas Cozy
I just love how this rug really cozies up the space for Christmas. Even if you already have carpet in your room, throw a rug on top of it. It will add all kinds of cozy.
