How to style wood bead garlands.

Hey friends, grab a cup of coffee  or an adult beverage and let’s talk about how to style wood bead garlands.  It’s such an easy way to add interest to any vignette.  Sometimes just adding some detail to an already-styled space is all you need to take it to the next level.

FIND YOUR FAVORITE VERSION

Now, when I say “wood bead garlands,” you all know what I’m talking about, right?  I know you’ve seen them everywhere on Pinterest and on Instagram.   I don’t remember when this craze started but they are literally everywhere you look.  I’ve noticed that even a lot of my favorite stores are carrying their own version.  Now, I have to say that I am just a little partial to The Boho Beads, however, there are so many amazing bead makers out there.  I encourage you to find your favorite.

STYLING IS EASY

There is really no hard and fast rule when it comes to styling.  Garlands are offered in several different styles so you can easily drape them around a candle, for instance, or just lay them in a tray.

BEFORE AND AFTER

The most frequent question I get asked about BoHo Beads is, “They are so pretty, but what do I do with them?  Are they jewelry?  Do I wear them?”    Why, yes, they are jewelry, jewelry for your home.

Here is an example of a before and after photo that

shows you how just adding a garland can really

give your space texture.

CHOOSE A FOCAL COLOR

It’s easy to focus on a dominant color in your space and add accessories that highlight that.  Here on my front porch in the first photo, I wanted to focus on the yellow and adding the yellow beads, definitely draw your eye to the color.

Like I said above, there are no hard and fast rules for styling.  Just have fun.
