MOVE THAT BUS…er…um…okay, well, there’s no bus parked in my master bedroom but it is time to REVEAL the final tile project in the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge. Drum roll, PLEASE…

Remember all this ho hum boringness? Well, wait til you see it now.

I said from the beginning that this was going to be a smaller project compared to the other bloggers in the challenge, BUT sometimes the best things come in small packages. This Jeffrey Court Emblem tile literally changes the look of the entire room.
Don’t you think it takes this space from Hum Drum to Va Va Voom? Yeah, we did, too. It gives this fireplace the attention it needs and puts it center stage.
There were minimal challenges to completing this project. The main one being that the Mister works away from home Monday through Thursday and the majority of our work had to be completed on the weekend. And for that reason, I’m thankful it was a small project. And don’t think I sat around all week without doing anything. There were plenty of DIYs to complete like deconstructing the chair, arm knitting two chunky throws and, of course, all the painting. I was one busy bee.
To finish the space off, I paired my love of chippy farmhouse with the elegance of the emblem tile to complete the look and I am happy dancin’ with the way it turned out.
A pickin’ trip to an antique barn close to us to pick out a few vintage finds helped bring this bedroom sitting area together.
Here’s a quick look at the rest of the space.
A lighter and brighter room was our main goal over this past six weeks and that was achieved.
So there you have it friends. Six weeks of proving that hard work does pays off and a shoutout to this guy below for taking the lead. I couldn’t do what I do without him.
